Graduate Program

Graduate Program

The Graduate Program provides young adults transitioning from foster or orphan care with what they need most: people who believe in them. Through personalized mentorship and guidance, participants build the relationships, skills, and confidence needed for healthy, independent lives. The program offers a safety net of support during a critical transition, helping young adults who lack family networks develop meaningful connections, make informed decisions, and build a foundation for their future.

Children Orphaned or without Parental Care

29,766 children live in some type of full-time residential care. This could be an educational institution, healthcare facility, government-run orphanage, or private orphanage. Almost 16% of these children are living with disabilities.

Successfully Transition to Adulthood after leaving orphan or foster care

Many leave care without strong family networks, stable housing, or job preparation. Graduate programs that provide mentoring, life-skills training, and supportive community relationships can dramatically improve those outcomes.

Our Transformational Approach

In Ukraine, our local staff walks alongside young adults and their families as they focus on education, physical wellbeing, social-emotional growth, and spiritual support. Our team meets young adults where they are—in their communities, honoring their stories, building hope for their futures.

EDUCATION

Learning goes beyond the classroom. Our local educators and mentors walk alongside children-building knowledge, life skills, and hope in the places they call home.

PHYSICAL WELLBEING

Meeting essential physical needs removes barriers to learning, and allows children to focus, grow, and succeed in school and life.

SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL GROWTH

Through supportive relationships, education, and professional support, children experience safety, find healing, and build resilience.

SPIRITUAL SUPPORT

Grounded in compassion, children are invited to know and experience the unconditional love of God.
